Dual-water phase distribution technology is a new type of biological separation technology, which can eliminate the solid-liquid separation operation after cell fragmentation by using dual-water phase technology, and can realize the recycling of polymers by using temperature-induced phase separation. Merlot and others selected ethylene oxide a cyclopic propane non-regulated copolymer (EOPO)/hydroxypropyl starch (PES) dual-water phase system, combined with temperature-induced phase separation technology to extract glutathione from yeast cells, glutathione total extraction rate of more than 80%. However, because the dual-water phase composition system is generally more expensive, this method is still in the laboratory research stage.
